This particular shirt is a pretty good encapsulation of everything knows, and does well. It combines two classic Japanese garments into a single garment, with cues taken from both and reworked in the Kapital style.
JUDDBHAN is reference to a traditional men's undershirt worn with Kimono – the neckline is borrowed from this garment. The shirt's shape is inspired by padded Kimono jackets. As with anything Kapital makes, the distressed remake style is executed with incredible detail and care – from patchwork construction and repaired holes to the indigo dyed gauze which sits over the entire garment.
